Length and Slip End Types:
Length indicates the total distance stretched flat from end to end including hardware.
Slip end types do not add extra length. For example: If you select 6’ length, the slide slip loop will shorten that length by however much is used for your particular loop usage.
Meaning: if you intend to wear a slip end cross-body we recommend that you add approximately 3-4ft onto your desired leash length.
Slide Slip -vs- Stable Slip:
· Slide slip - traditional single O-ring which slides freely.
· Stable slip - double O-rings which slide manually. Holds its location once placed.
Note:
Slip ends are not suitable for dragging. They are a very serious choking hazard.

Black Hardware:
As with all black coated metal, it will wear down or chip over time. We work hard to choose high quality hardware but we cannot guarantee the lifespan of black coatings.
Cinch styles:
Our standard cinch limit for slip style collars is 3” smaller than the size given. i.e. if the dog’s head size is 16” the cinch limit will be 13”. To request otherwise, please leave a note with the desired limit during checkout.
SAFE optional add-on:
This feature adds a quick-release Cobra buckle to the limited-slip styles. Any collar without a quick-release buckle poses a potential threat. In an emergency situation when the airway is cut off, having the option to instantly unbuckle the collar can save a life.
Having a buckle on a slip collar also allows for more precise fit for those dogs with a significant difference in head/neck size.
