Note::: We add a nano ceramic coating as well as an enamel coating to help mitigate scratches, however, since the matte black is still a coating some scratches are inevitable over time. Fawkes wears his around the house and on casual neighborhood walks, it has minimal scratching. Kavik wears his on hikes and it has significant scratching. 

Also Note::: Product photos are stylized! As with all metal hand stamping, there are imperfections, that's part of their charm. In most cases minor ghosting of letters/numbers from the reverse side are visible.
